Where to find your login
The login is in the first field of this page — Account → Account Settings → "Login".
It is also always visible at the bottom of the sidebar, next to your name: "Name (login)".
Keep it at hand when you contact support: with the login a specialist finds your account instantly and knows which cash register you mean.
Changing the password
- Open Account → Account Settings.
- In the Change password block enter your current password.
- Enter the new password and repeat it in Confirm password.
- Click Save.
If you do not remember the current password, use the password recovery form on the sign-in page.
FAQ
Can the login be changed?
No. The login is assigned when the account is registered and never changes — the field is read-only. What you can change is the password, plus full name, phone, email and company details.
This does not block a change of owner or of legal details: the company name, details and the sales point name are all editable, while the login stays the same — it affects nothing except signing in.
Is the login visible in reports and receipts?
No. The login is used for signing in only. Reports and receipts show sales, register, employee and item data — the login is never printed there.
We sold the business — how do we hand the account over?
Give the new owner the login and password; they change the password (Account → Account Settings → Change password) along with the full name, phone, email and company details. The sales point name is changed under Sales points.
If you want to stop paying rather than hand the account over, see How to stop paying for Paloma365.
Why does an employee see "Profile" instead of this page?
Employee logins look like account.employee and have no rights to account settings. Employees get the Profile page, where they can change only their own password.
Does changing the timezone affect existing documents?
No. Existing documents keep their timestamps; the timezone affects how new ones are recorded and displayed.
Who can change account settings?
The account owner — the person who signs in with the main login. Employees do not have this page.
Can I change the password in Paloma Boss?
Yes — it is the same account password you use for the dashboard: the app has no password of its own. Change it right here, in the Change password block above.
The Paloma Boss app has been replaced by the dashboard, which opens in a browser on both phone and computer and shows everything the app did and more: sales, stock, reports, employees and all settings.
