Fiscal register and online cash register settings — Paloma365 Classic (Windows POS) ​

This article covers Paloma365 Classic — the POS application for Windows. It is a reference for two parts of the local POS settings: "Equipment" («Оборудование») → "Fiscal printers" («Фискальные принтеры») for hardware fiscal registers (ШТРИХ, ПОРТ, АТОЛ, Elvis Micro-F and iKKM), and the "Plugins" («Плагины») tab for online cash registers, loyalty systems and the Satty lottery. The settings window is called "Paloma365 front-office settings" («Настройки Paloma365 - фронт офис») and opens from the start screen via "MENU" («МЕНЮ») → "Settings" («Настройки») after entering the settings password.

Choosing the fiscal register type ("Fiscal Register type") ​

  • Where: Settings → "Equipment" → "Fiscal printers" → the "Fiscal Register type" («Тип ФР») switch: «ФР ШТРИХ», «ФР ПОРТ», «ФР АТОЛ», «ФР ЭЛВИС-МИКРО», «ФР iKKM», «ФР ONLINE».
  • How to set: pick an option — it is saved immediately. The default is «ФР ШТРИХ».
  • What changes on screen: choosing «ФР АТОЛ» or «ФР iKKM» automatically expands the matching settings block. The «Штрих» (Shtrih) and «ФР Порт» (Port) blocks become available for their type but must be expanded by hand (the Shtrih block is expanded on its own when the window opens with «ФР ШТРИХ» selected). The «ФР Атол» (ATOL) block is available only with «ФР АТОЛ» — with «ФР ЭЛВИС-МИКРО» it is disabled, even though Elvis prints through the same ATOL driver; to change its settings, temporarily select «ФР АТОЛ».
  • Important: fiscal printing works only if fiscal register use is enabled for the point of sale in the web dashboard; without it the register type has no effect on printing. ШТРИХ, ПОРТ and АТОЛ need the manufacturer's driver installed; iKKM works over the network.
  • Shtrih driver error: if the driver fails to load, the POS shows "Driver loading error..." («Ошибка загрузки драйвера...») with "Failed to load "Штрих-Light-ФР-К" driver" («Не удалось загрузить драйвер Штрих-Light-ФР-К») at startup.

«ФР ONLINE» mode: fiscalization through an online cash register ​

  • Where: Settings → "Equipment" → "Fiscal printers" → "Fiscal Register type" → «ФР ONLINE».
  • How it turns on: it cannot be selected by hand — the mode is switched on automatically when any online cash register is connected in the web dashboard (NurKassa, ReKassa, Trinity, UzKassa, UKassa, EKassa, WebKassa, EPos, QPos, GREEnKassa, NewCas, KaspiKassa). In this mode the "Fiscal Register type" switch and the ATOL and iKKM blocks are disabled.
  • Going back to a hardware register: disconnect the online cash register in the web dashboard and restart the POS — the previously selected register type returns.
  • Note: clicking «ФР ONLINE» while the switch is still available saves nothing.

The "VAT is enabled on ШТРИХ ФР" checkbox ​

  • Where: Settings → "Equipment" → "Fiscal printers" → "Systemic control" («Системное управление») block → "VAT is enabled on ШТРИХ ФР" («НДС включен на ШТРИХ ФР»).
  • How to enable: tick it — saved immediately; off by default; applies to this POS only.
  • What it does: on a sale printed on «ФР ШТРИХ», the item is registered with tax group 1 (the group's rate is configured in the device itself).
  • When it applies: only when the receipt is registered as a single item — that is, when "Print full bill" («Печатать полный чек») is off on the "Receipts and reports" («Чеки и Отчеты») tab. With full receipts each item's tax group comes from the product data and this checkbox has no effect. It does not pass a tax group for returns.

Opening the cash drawer automatically after a cash payment ​

  • Where: Settings → "Equipment" → "Fiscal printers" → "Systemic control" block → "Open cash drawer" («Открывать денежный ящик»).
  • How to enable: tick it (off by default).
  • How it works: after an order with a cash payment (the cash payment type, or a type linked to the workplace's cash account) has been fiscalized successfully, the POS sends the drawer-open command to the printer selected as "Printer for printing bills and reports" («Принтер для печати счета об оплате и итогового отчета», "Receipts and reports" tab). If that printer is not selected, the drawer is not opened through the printer.
  • With «ФР ШТРИХ»: the drawer is also opened by the device itself — after a receipt with cash payment and after a cash in or cash out.
  • Notes: for ATOL devices the drawer is not opened through the device driver. The result is written to the POS log.

Automatic USB printer port switching ​

  • Where: Settings → "Equipment" → "Fiscal printers" → "Systemic control" block → «Автопереключение порта USB-принтера» (automatic USB printer port switching).
  • Why: if Windows assigned a USB printer a new port after reconnection (for example USB001 → USB002) and printing stopped, the POS moves the printer to the port it is actually connected to.
  • How to enable: on by default. Monitoring starts when the program starts, so changing the checkbox takes effect after the POS is restarted.
  • Which printers are monitored: those selected in the POS settings — bill, payment bill and report, kitchen ticket and label printers.

The "Driver test" button ​

  • Where: Settings → "Equipment" → "Fiscal printers" → "Driver test" («Тест драйвера»).
  • What it does depending on the register type:
    • «ФР ШТРИХ» — opens the Shtrih driver properties window (port, speed, etc.);
    • «ФР АТОЛ» and «ФР ЭЛВИС-МИКРО» with «ККТ АТОЛ 4.5» — opens the ATOL driver properties window, then shows "Settings are saved" («Настройки сохранены»);
    • with «ККТ АТОЛ 10» no properties window opens — the POS saves the current driver settings and shows "Settings are saved";
    • «ФР ПОРТ» — the POS connects to the device using the saved COM port and speed but shows no result on screen (log only);
    • «ФР iKKM» and «ФР ONLINE» — the button does nothing (iKKM has its own "Test iKKM" button).
  • Administrator rights: if the program is not running as administrator, "You must run the program as an administrator!" («Необходимо запустить программу от имени администратора!») appears — the action still runs afterwards.

Choosing the ATOL driver version ​

  • Where: Settings → "Equipment" → "Fiscal printers" → «ФР Атол» block → «ККТ АТОЛ 4.5» / «ККТ АТОЛ 10» switch.
  • How to set: available only with «ФР АТОЛ». Saved immediately; default «ККТ АТОЛ 4.5»; this POS only.
  • What changes: for 4.5 the VAT index field and the "with taxes via sections" checkbox become available; for 10 — the ATOL 10 VAT rate list and the «Не закрывать порт» checkbox.

VAT rate index for ATOL 4.5 ​

  • Where: Settings → "Equipment" → "Fiscal printers" → «ФР Атол» block → "VAT rate index for "ККТ АТОЛ 4.5"" («Индекс ставки НДС для ККТ АТОЛ 4.5») → "Save" («Сохранить»).
  • How to set: enter the tax rate number from the device settings and press "Save". By default no index is set; an empty field is saved as 0.
  • When it applies: only with ""ККТ АТОЛ" with taxes via sections" turned on and an index greater than 0 — otherwise items are sent without a tax.
  • Important: the rate is sent for items the POS registers on the device — that is, with "Print full bill" on ("Receipts and reports" tab) or in Elvis Micro-F mode.

The ""ККТ АТОЛ" with taxes via sections" checkbox ​

  • Where: Settings → "Equipment" → "Fiscal printers" → «ФР Атол» block → ""ККТ АТОЛ" with taxes via sections" («ККТ АТОЛ с налогами через секции»).
  • How to enable: tick it (off by default; this POS only). When on, the index from the ATOL 4.5 VAT index field is sent to the device.
  • Pitfall: the checkbox sits inside the block it enables. Unticking it disables the whole block including the checkbox; to turn it back on, click «ККТ АТОЛ 4.5» in the version switch.

VAT rate for ATOL 10 ​

  • Where: Settings → "Equipment" → "Fiscal printers" → «ФР Атол» block → "VAT rates for "ККТ АТОЛ 10"" («Ставки НДС для ККТ АТОЛ 10») list: "Is not a subject to a tax" («Не облагается»), "VAT 0%", "VAT 10%", "VAT 18%", "VAT 20%".
  • How to set: available with «ККТ АТОЛ 10». Saved immediately when you pick a value; default "VAT 20%"; this POS only.
  • When it applies: to items the POS registers on the device — with "Print full bill" on or in Elvis Micro-F mode.
  • Note: the "Save" button next to the list does nothing — the value is already saved on selection.

The "Cancel a receipt" button for ATOL ​

  • Where: Settings → "Equipment" → "Fiscal printers" → «ФР Атол» block → "Cancel a receipt" («Аннулировать чек»).
  • What it does: connects to the device and cancels a stuck open receipt. Result: "Receipt is successfully cancelled" («Чек успешно отменён») or "Failed to cancel the receipt." («Не удалось отменить чек.»).
  • When available: only with «ФР АТОЛ» — with other types, including «ФР ЭЛВИС-МИКРО», the block with the button is disabled.
  • Note: the device's detailed error text is usually not added to "Failed to cancel the receipt.".

The "Close the receipt" button for ATOL ​

  • Where: Settings → "Equipment" → "Fiscal printers" → «ФР Атол» block → "Close the receipt" («Закрыть чек»).
  • What it does: with the «ККТ АТОЛ 10» version, the POS sends the device a command to close the open receipt. With «ККТ АТОЛ 4.5» no close command is sent — the POS only checks the connection to the device, so "Bill was successfully closed" does not mean the receipt was actually closed; for a stuck receipt on ATOL 4.5 use «Аннулировать чек» instead. Result: "Bill was successfully closed" («Чек успешно закрыт») or "Failed to close the bill." («Не удалось закрыть чек.»).
  • Important: if closing fails, the POS immediately cancels (annuls) the open receipt on the device.
  • When available: only with «ФР АТОЛ»; the device's detailed error text is usually not added to the message.

The «Не закрывать порт» (keep port open) checkbox for ATOL 10 ​

  • Where: Settings → "Equipment" → "Fiscal printers" → «ФР Атол» block → «Не закрывать порт» (do not close the port).
  • How to enable: available only with «ККТ АТОЛ 10»; saved immediately; off by default; this POS only.
  • What it does: the POS keeps the connection to the device open after each print operation, which speeds up printing a series of receipts.

Elvis Micro-F mode: one-line receipt without order contents ​

  • Where: Settings → "Equipment" → "Fiscal printers" → «ФР Атол» block → "Elvis Micro-F. Use. Without content printing" («Элвис Микро-Ф. Использовать. Без печати содержания»).
  • How to enable: tick it (off by default; this POS only). The block is available only with «ФР АТОЛ»: tick the box, then switch the register type to «ФР ЭЛВИС-МИКРО» if needed.
  • What it does: the receipt is registered as a single item for the order total; the list of dishes and goods is not printed.
  • Note: «ФР ЭЛВИС-МИКРО» and «ФР АТОЛ» print the same way through the ATOL driver; the single-item mode is controlled by this checkbox.

Dividing the receipt amount by 100 for Elvis Micro-F ​

  • Where: Settings → "Equipment" → "Fiscal printers" → «ФР Атол» block → "Elvis Micro-F. Divide receipt amount by 100" («Элвис Микро-Ф. Делить сумму чека на 100»).
  • How to enable: tick it (off by default; this POS only) — if the device expects amounts in hundredths and without it amounts come out 100 times too large.
  • What it does: the receipt payment amount (and the single item in Elvis Micro-F mode) is rounded to a whole number and divided by 100, regardless of the receipt rounding setting. Individual item amounts in a full receipt are not divided.

Connecting iKKM over the network: address, API key and test ​

  • Where: Settings → "Equipment" → "Fiscal printers" → iKKM block → "iKKM IP address" («IP адрес iKKM»), "API_key" («API_ключ») → "Test "iKKM"" («Тест iKKM»).
  • How to set: select «ФР iKKM», fill in the address and key, press "Test iKKM". The POS sends a check request to the device; on success the values are saved and "Connection with "iKKM" was successfully set!" («Подключение с iKKM успешно установлено!») appears; on failure the iKKM error code is explained.
  • Notes: empty fields give "Enter "iKKM" device ip-address!" («Введите ip адрес iKKM устройства!») or "Enter "iKKM" device api-key!" («Введите api-ключ iKKM устройства!»). Settings are saved only after a successful test. No separate plugin is needed.

The "External banking module" checkbox for iKKM ​

  • Where: Settings → "Equipment" → "Fiscal printers" → iKKM block → "External banking module" («Внешний банковский модуль»).
  • How to enable: tick it (off by default; this POS only).
  • What it does: card payments are sent to iKKM as a separate operation through the device's banking module. Mixed payment is not allowed: «iKKM: Нельзя оплатить счет смешанным типом оплаты с активированным банковским модулем» (iKKM: cannot pay with mixed payment while the banking module is active).
  • Important: after the POS is restarted, the checkbox takes effect only once the settings window has been opened at least once.

Connecting a ПОРТ register: COM port and speed ​

  • Where: Settings → "Equipment" → "Fiscal printers" → «ФР Порт» block → «COM порт:» (COM port), «Скорость:» (speed) → "Save".
  • How to set: select «ФР ПОРТ», enter the port number (default 1) and speed (default 115200), press "Save". Only numeric values are saved; the setting applies to this POS.
  • Notes: the device driver must be installed. The block is available only with «ФР ПОРТ».

Operator details for a ПОРТ register ​

  • Where: Settings → "Equipment" → "Fiscal printers" → «ФР Порт» block → «Номер оператора:» (operator number), «Номер точки прод.» (point of sale number), «Пароль оператора:» (operator password) → "Save".
  • How to set: fill in the fields and press "Save" (operator number and point of sale number default to 1). The POS sends these details to the device when opening each fiscal receipt.

Shtrih code page ​

  • Where: Settings → "Equipment" → "Fiscal printers" → «Штрих» block → «Кодовая страница:» (code page) → "Save".
  • How to set: enter the code from the field hint: «По умолчанию - 0, русская - 1, армянская - 2 или 3, казахская - 4, туркменская - 5» (default 0, Russian 1, Armenian 2 or 3, Kazakh 4, Turkmen 5), then press "Save". Default 0.
  • Notes: the block is available only with «ФР ШТРИХ». With code pages 2, 4 and 5 the «Локаль:» setting is not applied.

Shtrih print locale ​

  • Where: Settings → "Equipment" → "Fiscal printers" → «Штрих» block → «Локаль:» (locale) → "Save".
  • How to set: enter the code from the field hint: «0 - не менять локаль, 1049 - русский, 1087 - казахский, 1088 - киргизский» (0 — do not change, 1049 — Russian, 1087 — Kazakh, 1088 — Kyrgyz). Default 1049.
  • Notes: the locale is switched on while lines are printed on the Shtrih register and helps national characters print correctly. It is not applied with value 0 or with code pages 2, 4, 5.

Printing Shtrih lines with driver fonts ​

  • Where: Settings → "Equipment" → "Fiscal printers" → «Штрих» block → «Использовать печать со шрифтами» (use font printing) checkbox, «Тип шрифта:» (font type) field → "Save".
  • How to enable: tick the box, enter the font number (default 1) and press "Save".
  • Note: without pressing "Save", changes to the checkbox and field are not applied.

The "Plugins" tab: layout and access ​

  • Where: "MENU" → "Settings" → "Enter settings password" («Введите пароль настроек») → "Paloma365 front-office settings" window → "Plugins" tab.
  • Layout: three expandable blocks — "Basic plugins" («Базовые плагины»), "Fiscal registers" («Фискальные регистраторы») and "Payment systems" («Платёжные системы»). Expanding one collapses the others. The list in "Payment systems" scrolls with the mouse wheel.
  • Plugin tiles: a picture, a "Use …" checkbox and a "Connection test" («Тест подключения») button; for the Halyk, Forte, Alatau, Freedom, БЦК and Halyk Рестораны bank terminals the button is labelled «Настройки» (Settings). Buttons usually appear only when the plugin is on; the exception is the loyalty systems "Connection test" button, which is always visible.
  • After the window closes: the POS re-reads its settings and checks the module versions of enabled plugins again.
  • Entry password: set on the "Settings password" («Пароль для настроек») tab.

Plugin module version check at startup ​

  • When: automatically at POS startup and after the settings window is closed.
  • What the user sees: if an enabled plugin's module is older than the minimum version, a list appears: "During inspection it was found that: … - version …, below minimum required: …" («Входе проверки было выявленно, что: … - версия …, меньше минимально необходимой: …»), then "Need to update specified modules." («Необходимо выполнить обновление указанных модулей.») and the question "Continue program launch anyway?" («Всё равно продолжить запуск программы?»). Answering "No" closes the program.
  • Minimum versions: WebKassa 1.0.18.0, UzKassa 1.0.4.7, UKassa 1.0.6.7, Tuvis 11.0.0.0, Trinity 1.1.21.0, Smart Plaza 2.5.7801.55731, Senim 1.0.0.1, ReKassa 1.1.8.1, QPos 1.0.0.4, Smart POS Terminal 1.0.0.2, NurKassa 2.0.1.0, GREEnKassa 1.0.2.2, EPos 1.0.5.0, EKassa 1.0.3.8, NewCas 1.0.0.4, mobile waiter 2023.9.20.20.
  • Notes: only enabled plugins are checked. KaspiKassa, Satty and loyalty plugins are not version-checked.

Loyalty systems indicator (UDS, Sagi) ​

  • Where: Settings → "Plugins" → "Basic plugins" → "Use loyalty systems" («Использовать системы лояльности») checkbox.
  • How to enable: it cannot be toggled on the POS — the loyalty module is enabled in the web dashboard and the POS receives the flag when it connects to the cloud. The checkbox only shows the state.
  • What it gives: with the module on, a loyalty system selection window opens when a bill is paid.

Configuring loyalty plugins: the plugin list window ​

  • Where: Settings → "Plugins" → "Basic plugins" → "Use loyalty systems" tile → "Connection test" → the plugin's tile.
  • How it works: the button opens a window with tiles of installed loyalty plugins (picture and name). Clicking the UDS or Sagi tile opens that plugin's own credentials window — the fields are defined by the plugin. The first tile, "Without discount" («Без скидки»), simply closes the window in this mode.
  • Notes: the button is always visible, even when the loyalty checkbox is off. The window opens without a title. Loyalty plugins must be installed together with the program.

Enabling the Tuvis loyalty system ​

  • Where: Settings → "Plugins" → "Basic plugins" → "Use Tuvis" («Использовать Tuvis»).
  • How to enable: tick it — a "Connection test" button appears for entering parameters. Off by default. The Tuvis module must be version 11.0.0.0 or later.
  • Notes: enabling Tuvis automatically unticks «Использовать Smart Plaza» (use Smart Plaza) — the two are mutually exclusive. Turning Tuvis off resets its successful-connection flag.

Tuvis parameters through the plugin window ​

  • Where: Settings → "Plugins" → "Basic plugins" → "Use Tuvis" → "Connection test".
  • How it works: the Tuvis plugin settings window opens. After saving the POS shows "Settings are saved"; when leaving without changes — «Выход без сохранения» (exit without saving).
  • What is saved: login, password, server address, timeout, cards, point rounding rules, synchronization, client search methods (by code, by phone, by certificate, scanner only) and other parameters — the plugin defines the fields.
  • Note: the button is visible only when the checkbox is ticked.

Enabling the Satty lottery ​

  • Where: Settings → "Plugins" → "Basic plugins" → «Использовать Satty» (use Satty).
  • How to enable: tick it on the POS — the «ID Товара-лотереи» (lottery item ID) field and the "Connection test" button appear. Off by default.
  • Restriction: with Satty on, the "Mixed payment" («Смешанная оплата») button in the payment window is unavailable.
  • Note: the Satty module version is not checked at startup.

The lottery item for Satty ​

  • Where: Settings → "Plugins" → "Basic plugins" → «Использовать Satty» → «ID Товара-лотереи» field.
  • How to set: enter the numeric ID of the catalog item whose sale starts the lottery scenario. The value is saved when you press "Connection test" and the plugin authorization succeeds.
  • Notes: with the field empty the test does not start — «Необходимо указать ID товара - лотереи» (lottery item ID is required). The field is visible only when the checkbox is ticked.

Satty authorization ​

  • Where: Settings → "Plugins" → "Basic plugins" → «Использовать Satty» → "Connection test".
  • How to set: fill in the lottery item ID first, then press the button and enter credentials in the plugin window (the plugin defines the fields).
  • If authorization fails: the Satty checkbox is unticked automatically, the field and button are hidden, and the module is turned off.

The "Fiscal registers" block: general rules for online cash registers ​

  • Where: Settings → "Plugins" → "Fiscal registers".
  • How it turns on: an online cash register is connected in the web dashboard, and the POS receives the flag when it connects to the cloud; the checkboxes on this tab are disabled and only show the state. A connected register gets a "Connection test" button for entering its credentials.
  • What changes: the POS switches to «ФР ONLINE» mode; hardware register settings under "Equipment" → "Fiscal printers" are not used.
  • Mixed payment: unavailable with UzKassa, EKassa and QPos (and with Satty on); WebKassa, Trinity, UKassa, ReKassa and GREEnKassa support mixed payment.

WebKassa: connection indicator ​

  • Where: Settings → "Plugins" → "Fiscal registers" → "Enable WebKassa" («Использовать WebKassa»).
  • How to enable: in the web dashboard; the POS receives the flag when it connects to the cloud. The checkbox is disabled. The WebKassa module must be version 1.0.18.0 or later.

WebKassa: entering credentials ​

  • Where: Settings → "Plugins" → "Fiscal registers" → "Enable WebKassa" → "Connection test".
  • How it works: the button is visible only when WebKassa is connected and opens the plugin's authorization window; the plugin defines the fields.

NurKassa: connection indicator ​

  • Where: Settings → "Plugins" → "Fiscal registers" → "Use Nurkassa" («Использовать NurKassa»).
  • How to enable: in the web dashboard; the POS receives the flag when it connects to the cloud. The checkbox is disabled. The NurKassa module must be version 2.0.1.0 or later.

NurKassa: entering credentials ​

  • Where: Settings → "Plugins" → "Fiscal registers" → "Use Nurkassa" → "Connection test".
  • How it works: the button is visible only when NurKassa is connected and opens the plugin's authorization window.

ReKassa: connection indicator ​

  • Where: Settings → "Plugins" → "Fiscal registers" → "Use Rekassa" («Использовать ReKassa»).
  • How to enable: in the web dashboard; the POS receives the flag when it connects to the cloud. The checkbox is disabled. The ReKassa module must be version 1.1.8.1 or later.

ReKassa: entering credentials ​

  • Where: Settings → "Plugins" → "Fiscal registers" → "Use Rekassa" → "Connection test".
  • How it works: the button is visible only when ReKassa is connected and opens the plugin's authorization window.

Trinity: connection indicator ​

  • Where: Settings → "Plugins" → "Fiscal registers" → "Use Trinity" («Использовать Trinity»).
  • How to enable: in the web dashboard; the POS receives the flag when it connects to the cloud. The checkbox is disabled. The Trinity module must be version 1.1.21.0 or later.

Trinity: entering credentials ​

  • Where: Settings → "Plugins" → "Fiscal registers" → "Use Trinity" → "Connection test".
  • How it works: the button is visible only when Trinity is connected and opens the plugin's authorization window.

UzKassa: connection indicator ​

  • Where: Settings → "Plugins" → "Fiscal registers" → "Use UzKassa" («Использовать UzKassa»).
  • How to enable: in the web dashboard; the POS receives the flag when it connects to the cloud. The checkbox is disabled. The UzKassa module must be version 1.0.4.7 or later.
  • Restriction: mixed payment is unavailable with UzKassa.

UzKassa: entering credentials ​

  • Where: Settings → "Plugins" → "Fiscal registers" → "Use UzKassa" → "Connection test".
  • How it works: the button is visible only when UzKassa is connected and opens the plugin's authorization window.

UKassa: connection indicator ​

  • Where: Settings → "Plugins" → "Fiscal registers" → «Использовать UKassa» (use UKassa).
  • How to enable: in the web dashboard; the POS receives the flag when it connects to the cloud. The checkbox is disabled. The UKassa module must be version 1.0.6.7 or later.

UKassa: entering credentials ​

  • Where: Settings → "Plugins" → "Fiscal registers" → «Использовать UKassa» → "Connection test".
  • How it works: the button is visible only when UKassa is connected and opens the plugin's authorization window.

EKassa: connection indicator ​

  • Where: Settings → "Plugins" → "Fiscal registers" → «Использовать EKassa» (use EKassa).
  • How to enable: in the web dashboard; the POS receives the flag when it connects to the cloud. The checkbox is disabled. The EKassa module must be version 1.0.3.8 or later.
  • Restriction: mixed payment is unavailable with EKassa.

EKassa: entering credentials ​
