Floor plan and tables — Paloma365 Classic (Windows POS)

This article is about Paloma365 Classic, the POS program for Windows. In cafe mode an order is opened on a table, so the waiter can see which hall and table is busy. The Classic interface is in Russian; original UI names are shown in quotes.

Overview

Tables and rooms (halls) are created by the administrator in the back office — the POS only displays them. Table selection comes in two forms: a simple table list, or the restaurant map, enabled with the "Использовать карту ресторана" (Use the restaurant map) setting. A manager arranges the tables in the "Дизайнер столов" (Table placement map) editor.

Choosing a table when creating an order

• If the outlet asks for a table, pressing "Новый счет" (New order) opens the "Выберите стол" (Select a table) window: room buttons on top, tables of the selected room below. Tap a table to open the order on it; "Отмена" (Cancel) closes the window. "Нет созданых столиков!" means no tables exist in the back office yet.
• With the restaurant map enabled, the floor plan opens instead. Statuses: "Свободен" (Free), "Занят" (Occupied), "Бронь" (Booked), "Распечатан" (Printed), "Завершается" (Finishing). Tapping an occupied table offers to add one more order to it.
• The table tile also shows a time next to the status: a free table shows "Свободен c HH:MM" — since when it has been free (when its last order of the shift was closed); a booked table shows "Бронь c HH:MM" — the start time of the nearest upcoming booking from the booking journal (see Journal and booking).
• When the waiter interface runs through the hall map, it has extra buttons: "Все счета" (All orders) opens the list of open orders, "Продажа" (Sale) starts a new order on the selected table, and "Моб. официант" (Mobile waiter — shown when the mobile waiter feature is enabled) opens the QR-code connection window for the mobile waiter.

Floor plan editor ("Дизайнер столов")

Open it from the cash screen: "Опции" (Options) → "Дополнительные функции" (Additional functions) → "Дизайнер столов". The action is protected by an employee right.

• The plan is on the left; the "Столы" (Tables) and "Помещения" (Rooms) lists are on the right.
• Add a table: tap it in the list, confirm, and set "Настройки стола" (Table settings): height, width, shape — "Прямоугольник" (rectangle) or "Круг" (circle). Sizes are limited to 50–500.
• Move tables: switch on "Режим дизайнера" (Designer mode) — tables become "Можно двигать" (Movable) and can be dragged. "Выровнять" aligns to the grid, "Разместить столы" auto-places, "Очистить помещение" clears the room.
• Remove a table: tap a free table and confirm; an occupied table cannot be removed, and the layout can only be changed while the shift is closed.

Common issues

• "Нет созданых столиков!" — ask the administrator to create tables and rooms in the back office.
• "Недостаточно прав!" (Insufficient rights) — the floor-design right is disabled for the employee.
• A table shows "Занят" but has no orders — normally the POS frees such tables automatically: on startup and every time the floor plan is opened it releases tables whose orders are already paid and printed, or deleted. If a table is still stuck, tap its "Занят" (Occupied) status badge in the editor and confirm freeing the table.

Can one table hold two orders?

Yes — tapping an occupied table on the map offers to add another order.

Why do I get a table list instead of the floor plan?

The "Использовать карту ресторана" setting is off, or the tables have not been added to the map yet.
