Cash Outcome

The Cash Outcome document records the disbursement of cash from the organization's cash register. It is used to track payments to suppliers, employee payouts, operational expenses, and other outgoing cash operations.

How to Access

Navigate to: Sidebar > Money > Cash Outcome

Route: /money/documents/cash-outcome

Overview

A cash outcome document is created when cash is paid out from a cash register. Once conducted (posted), the amount is deducted from the selected cash register and reflected in the cash flow records.

The list page shows all cash outcome documents.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Go to Money > Cash Outcome.
  2. Click Add.
  3. Select the Organization and Cash Register.
  4. Set the Date of the operation.
  5. Optionally select a Client and Income/Expense Type.
  6. Enter the Amount.
  7. Optionally add a Note.
  8. Click Save, then Conduct.

FAQ

How do I undo an incorrect cash outcome?

Open the document and click Unconduct. The cash register balance will be restored.

Can I edit a conducted document?

First unconduct the document, make changes, then conduct it again.

Which income/expense type should I choose?

The income/expense type categorizes the expense for analytics. Configure the Income/Expense Types reference guide according to your accounting policy.
