Bulk Update Items from NKT
Bulk-reconcile your item catalog against the Kazakhstan National Catalog (NKT) — fill and keep national codes (NKT codes) current, which are required for fiscal integration (OFD).
How to Access
Items & Services → Sync button → Bulk Update Items from NKT. The page opens in a separate tab.
Overview
Processing runs on the server page by page (in batches), strictly sequentially — one request at a time. Keep the tab open until the run finishes. All the heavy logic (matching, cross-region ambiguity resolution, eCatalog rate limiting) runs on the server.
Two mutually-exclusive scenarios are available.
Fill missing NKT codes
Finds and sets national codes for items.

| Item group | Limits the run to the selected group and all of its subgroups. The list shows the full group tree, same as the "Group" field on an item card. Defaults to the whole catalog |
| Only items with an empty national code | Limits the run to items without an NKT code |
| Fill barcode when found | During name search, also sets the barcode from NKT |
| Update item name from NKT | Replaces the item name with the NKT name |
Refresh existing NKT codes
Re-checks assigned codes and replaces deactivated ones with current codes. This scenario shows an execution log — a status and note for each item.
Step-by-Step Guide
- Choose a scenario.
- Set the search options.
- Click Run and wait for completion (progress shows "Processed X of Y").
- Resolve the Needs a decision block: pick the correct NKT code for each item and click Apply selected.
- Review the Informational block (grouped by reason) and open an item card via the link if needed.
Tips
- To process only part of the catalog, pick an Item group — the run finishes faster because it makes fewer NKT requests.
- You can stop a run with the Stop button — items already processed keep their changes.
- For the refresh scenario, use the Execution log to see what happened to each item.
FAQ
Why do some items land in "Needs a decision"?
The same barcode in NKT can map to different products in different regions. Those cases require a manual choice.
Can I close the tab during a run?
No. Processing runs in the browser page by page; closing the tab interrupts the run.
