The register will not print a receipt: Webkassa and OFD error codes
This article covers the most common breakdown at the register: the receipt does not come out, the register shows a numbered error, and you cannot sell. Below is what each code means and what to do, step by step.
For connecting and configuring an online cash register see Fiscal registers and OFD; this article is about diagnosing errors.
Step 1. Check whether the OFD and the online-register licence are paid for
This is cause number one. OFD services and the Webkassa licence are paid separately from Paloma365 — to a different company, on a different invoice. When the term expires, the register stops issuing fiscal receipts even though Paloma365 itself is fully paid for and working.
The register says so directly:
| Code | What the register shows | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| 94 | "OFD services are not paid for" | Check the balance in your fiscal data operator's account (Kazakhtelecom, Transtelecom, etc.) or contact your service centre (CTO) |
| 17 | "The Webkassa online register licence is not paid for" | Check the payment status in your Webkassa account, or contact your service centre (CTO) to renew the licence |
Once paid, the register starts printing again on its own — you normally do not need to restart Paloma365, just repeat the payment of the order.
Do not confuse this with paying for Paloma365 itself. The messages "The program is not paid for!" and "Pay for the program by the 15th of the current month!" are about the Paloma365 subscription, not about the OFD. Those are handled on the Payment page in the dashboard. Codes 94 and 17 have nothing to do with the Paloma365 subscription.
Step 2. Find your code in the table
The register shows the code at the start of the message, in the form 94: [description]. The message may begin with "Fiscal printer error" — that is a generic wrapper; the real reason is on the second line.
| Code | Cause | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| 94 | OFD services not paid for | See step 1 |
| 17 | Webkassa licence not paid for | See step 1 |
| 115 | No internet, or no connection to Webkassa | Check the internet. If websites open but the error persists, contact Webkassa support or your service centre |
| −1 | The "Print module" is not running, or the register inside it is not started | Start "Print module" from the desktop. If it is already running, make sure the register inside it shows the status "Running" |
| −2 | Port unavailable | Check whether the port is taken by another program and restart the "Print module" |
| 1 | Wrong login and/or password | Check the online register's login and password in the settings |
| 12002 | "The operation timed out" | A network error: check the internet and retry |
If your code is not in the table, the register shows it together with the driver's description: <code>: [<description>]. Send us that message in full — a photo of the screen is best.
Step 3. "Offline mode for more than 72 hours"
The message "Offline operation exceeds 72 hours. To continue working with the register, a connection to the OFD is required" comes from Webkassa (its code 18).
What happened: the register worked for more than three days without a connection to the fiscal data operator, and by law it cannot issue further receipts until the data reaches the OFD.
What to do:
- Restore the internet connection on the register.
- Let the register send the accumulated receipts — this usually happens automatically within a few minutes.
- If the error persists after the connection is restored, check step 1: with an unpaid OFD the receipts cannot go through, and the register stays in this state.
On iKKM hardware registers the same situation looks different — code −4, "Offline period over 72 hours! Fix the connection and unblock the register." Unblocking follows your OFD provider's instructions.
Step 4. Other common causes of "no receipt"
| Message | What it means and what to do |
|---|---|
| "No fiscal printer selected!" | No fiscal register is selected in the settings. Open the settings and choose one |
| "The shift on the fiscal printer has ended! 24 hours since the first sale have passed!" | Close the fiscal shift: switch to "Cashier" mode and press Z-report |
| "Payment went through, but a notification was received via Webkassa!" | The order is paid and saved, do not pay again. The provider's warning text follows — read it |
| "Plugin not loaded" | The online-register module file is missing or outdated — update the program |
| "Print form unavailable: …" | The print-form template was not found; update the program |
| iKKM: "Printer not ready! Check the paper." (code −6) | Out of paper, or a paper jam |
| iKKM: "The register is blocked by the OFD…" (codes −100 to −199) | Subtract 100 from the code and look it up in your OFD's documentation |
To check the printer itself (without fiscalisation), see Receipt printing and printers.
What to send us if nothing helped
Write here in the chat and attach:
- a photo of the whole error screen — the code and the full text;
- the name of your online register (Webkassa, reKassa, NurKassa, iKKM, GREEnKassa);
- whether the OFD and the online-register licence are paid for (step 1) — that is the first question you will be asked;
- what you already tried: restarting the "Print module", checking the internet, the Z-report.
A specialist will join.
