Tables and objects represent physical seating or service points within locations, used for table-based ordering in restaurants and cafés.

Overview

Tables (objects) are the core unit for table service. Each table belongs to a location and can have orders assigned to it. The POS terminal displays tables visually, showing their status (free, occupied, with bill requested) to help staff manage the floor efficiently.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Go to POS > Tables/Objects.
  2. Click Add to create a new table.
  3. Enter a Name (e.g., "Table 1", "Booth 5").
  4. Select the Location where the table is placed.
  5. Optionally enter the number of Seats.
  6. Click Save.

Can I move a table to a different location?

Yes. Edit the table and change its location assignment.

How do I see which tables are occupied?

The POS terminal displays tables color-coded by status — free tables, occupied tables, and tables with pending bills are visually distinguished.

What happens when an order is assigned to a table?

The table is marked as occupied. The order stays linked to the table until it is closed and paid.
