Overview
Time-based prices allow setting different prices for items at different times of the day. This is useful for happy hour pricing, lunch specials, or time-differentiated tariffs. When a POS sale occurs during a defined time range, the time-based price overrides the item's default price.

FAQ
What happens outside the time range?
Outside the defined time range, the item uses its standard price from the items guide or retail prices.
Can I set multiple time ranges for the same item?
Yes. You can create multiple time-based price entries for the same item with different time windows and prices.
Do time-based prices override retail prices?
Yes. When a time-based price is active, it takes priority over both the base price and retail price type prices.
