The tips guide configures tip options available during POS checkout.

Overview
Tips define preset tip percentages that cashiers can quickly apply during checkout. Instead of manually calculating tip amounts, staff can select from predefined options, speeding up the payment process.

Step-by-Step Guide
Adding a Tip Option
- Go to Guides > Tips.
- Click Add.
- Enter the Name (e.g. "Standard Tip", "Generous Tip").
- Enter the Percent (e.g. 10, 15, 20).
- Click Save.
Common Setup
A typical restaurant setup includes three tip options:
- 10% — Standard
- 15% — Good service
- 20% — Excellent service
FAQ
Are tips mandatory at checkout?
No. Tips are optional and can be skipped during payment.
How is the tip calculated?
The tip amount is calculated as the specified percentage of the order total before the tip.
Can I set a fixed tip amount instead of a percentage?
The tips guide uses percentages. Fixed tip amounts are not supported through this guide.
