Overview
Warehouses represent physical or logical storage locations. Every inventory movement in the system (receipt, sale, transfer, write-off) is linked to a specific warehouse. You need at least one warehouse to work with documents.

FAQ
How many warehouses do I need?
At minimum one. Typically a restaurant has separate warehouses for the kitchen, bar, and storage. Retail stores may have one main warehouse and one for reserves.
Can I delete a warehouse?
A warehouse cannot be deleted if it has been used in any documents. You can only delete warehouses with no associated transactions.
What happens if I have multiple warehouses?
Stock balances are tracked per warehouse. You can use movement documents to transfer goods between warehouses.
How do I prohibit or allow selling into negative stock?
For warehouse documents this is a setting on the warehouse card:
- Open Guides > Warehouses and open the warehouse.
- The Allow negative stock switch:
- off (default) — operations that would take this warehouse's stock below zero are blocked: the message "Расход сверх остатка запрещен." (spending beyond stock is prohibited) appears with the list of items that are short;
- on — selling and writing off are allowed even when stock is short: the balance goes negative, and the system shows which items are affected.
- Click Save.
Register sales are checked separately — by the switches on the automated point, see Automated Points.
