Discounts
The Discounts section manages discount rules that can be applied to orders at the POS terminal.
How to Access
Navigate to: Sidebar > POS > Discounts

Overview
Discounts define percentage-based or fixed reductions applied to orders or individual items. Rules can include conditions such as time of day, minimum order amount, or specific item groups. Cashiers can apply configured discounts during checkout.

Step-by-Step Guide
- Go to POS > Discounts.
- Click Add to create a new discount.
- Enter a Name (e.g., "Happy Hour 20%").
- Set the Percent discount value.
- Choose the Type (applied to the entire order or specific items).
- Configure Conditions if applicable.
- Click Save.
FAQ
Can discounts be stacked?
This depends on system configuration. By default, only one discount is applied per order. Check your configuration settings if you need to allow stacking.
How do I restrict who can apply discounts?
Use Workplace Rights or POS Employee Rights to control which employees can apply discounts.
Can I schedule discounts to activate automatically?
Use the conditions and time-based discount settings to create discounts that activate during specific time windows.
