The Printers section manages receipt and kitchen printer configurations for POS terminals.

Navigate to: Sidebar > POS > Printers

Overview
Printers handle output for receipts (customer-facing) and kitchen/bar tickets (staff-facing). Each printer is configured with a connection type and network address, then assigned to subdivisions or terminals.

Step-by-Step Guide
- Go to POS > Printers.
- Click Add to register a new printer.
- Enter a Name (e.g., "Kitchen Printer 1").
- Select the Type of printer.
- Enter the printer's IP address.
- Enter the Port number.
- Click Save.

How do I test if the printer is connected?
After saving, send a test print from the POS terminal. If it fails, verify the IP address and port, and confirm the printer is on the same network.
Can one printer serve multiple terminals?
Yes. Multiple automated points can reference the same printer, though this may cause queuing during busy periods.
What printer types are supported?
The system supports thermal receipt printers and kitchen ticket printers connected via network (Ethernet/Wi-Fi).
