Inventory Count Summary

A summary report of stock count results: expected and actual quantities, surpluses and shortages, for a period or for a specific document.

How to Access

Menu → Reports → Inventory Count Summary.

Route: /warehouse/reports/inventory-summary

Quick actions:

Overview

The report collects the results of stock count documents and shows discrepancies between recorded and actual quantities, broken down by item, warehouse, and organization.

It runs in two modes:

  • for a period — every stock count falling within the date range;
  • for a single document — if a Document code is given, the report covers only that document and the period is ignored.

Tips

  • The Hide prices price type leaves only quantity discrepancies — useful when the report goes to a stock keeper rather than an accountant.
  • Discrepancies are valued at the selected price type, so a shortage will differ in cost price versus retail price. Cost price is the usual choice for liability purposes.
