Cancellation (Write-off)

The cancellation document records the removal of goods from the warehouse due to spoilage, damage, expiration, or other reasons. Written-off items are deducted from stock.

How to Access

Navigate to: Sidebar > Warehouse > Cancellation

Overview

A cancellation document is used when goods can no longer be sold or used. Common reasons include spoilage, breakage, expiration, or theft. After conducting, the specified quantities are removed from warehouse stock.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Go to Warehouse > Cancellation.
  2. Click Add.
  3. Select the Organization and Warehouse.
  4. Optionally select a Counterparty (e.g. responsible employee).
  5. Set the Date.
  6. Add items and specify quantities to write off.
  7. Enter a Note describing the reason.
  8. Click Save, then Conduct.

FAQ

Can I restore written-off items?

Yes. Open the document and click Unconduct. The items will be returned to warehouse stock.

Should I specify a counterparty?

It is optional. You may use it to assign accountability for the loss to a specific person or department.

How is the write-off price determined?

The system uses the current cost price of the item in the warehouse.
